The inaugural vintage under the Risdall Ranch name, this wine offers up a first impression of vivid green apple and confectionary aromas that yields to the lushness of stone fruit on the palate. A citrusy zing of fresh lemon and lime zest maintains brightness and vibrancy at the finish. Pair this wine with a mild chicken curry, seafood, ceviche, fruity salads and any dish featuring citrus.
Appellation: Willamette Valley
Risdall Ranch Winery was established in 2016, when winemaker Emery Risdall and his father, Bob, became the new owners of Shafer Vineyard Cellars, a Forest Grove winery with almost four decades of local heritage.
The Willamette Valley AVA (American Viticulture Areas) is bounded by the Columbia River to the north and extends to just south of Eugene. The west side of the valley meets the Oregon Coast Range, and the Cascade Mountains hug the east side. Risdall Ranch Winery is located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, one of six AVAs within the Willamette Valley AVA.
What better way to celebrate life's milestones than toasting with Oregon wine!
